Welcome to my new self produced EP. This was a result of me staying up late drinking Dr Pepper and obsessively making beats, which was quite out if the blue as I usually make 1 beat every 2 months. I decided impulsively to put the tracks straight out rather than sit on them for years, enjoy
This EP was recorded at Kilamanjaro studios by Chemo, the beats were made by Verb T and mixed by Chemo and Verb T, the vocals were mixed by Chemo. Mastering by Rico Conning.

it has our first track we ever made on there its called the truth
this is a load of our first recordings from when we was 17
bva mc from the three amigos crew has made a epic ep. production mainly from naive but there is a pete cannon beat in there to 3 amigos member leafdog is the only feature on this ep if you love dope music you need this!!
you can buy a limited edition cd from the bandcamp page and suspectpackages.com OR YOU CAN BUY YOUR COPY RIGHT NOW JUST CLICK AWAY!!
Q1 what got you into hip hop & what dose BVA stand for?
Well..... i reckon it was a combination of that movies, games, video program on channel 3 back then that had an r n b/hiphop chart on it, getting a now 32 tape off my grandad with coolio - gangsters paradise on it and hearing fugees - the score on repeat at a family friends house. All that got me into hiphop and then when i was about 16 I heard skitz - countryman and realised we were doing it over here. And the name BVA, well my nickname's beaver which i was blessed with when I was about 12 or something and it stuck, and on some computer games you have to make your mark in 3 letters and BVA was born, then when i started rapping when i was 16 I decided that was my name and that it stood for Be Very Afraid, aswell as beaver.
Q2 what is your view on lazer beats
Well.... given that one of the beats on my new ep is a bit of a lazer beat I'll try to answer this without slating them. If done right synth beats can be good, but this whole lazer beat devolution, I'm not feeling it. I think alot of people just follow trends and do whatevers hot at that minute and thats why its such a big thing and dub step is influencing hiphop aswell. I'm more of a boom bap soldier, I'm still listening to nineties shit aswell as the new stuff and some of the new stuff is sick so i'm not disheartened by the lazer beat devolution at all!
Q3 how do you feel your solo ep is different to 3 amigos
Well its more me and my take if you know what I mean, obviously its the same beat makers but i feel its got a different sound. Also its more personal its got a few topics on there that are more of a solo thing.
Q4 what do u think of the uk hip hop scene
I think there's so much talent in the UK right now and has been for a long time, but the lack of money floating around kills alot of spirits, which is proper helped by downloading bootlegs of peoples shit. And the scene needs the good shit to be heard to be a good scene and alot of peoples stuff gets slept on because they havent got the financial backing so the scene isn't always a good representation of the true skills out there. But my scene which i would call the underground scene has always been representing coz the musics got soul and so people are always going to want to express their feelings in a lyrical way. It just needs more people like fliptrix at high focus records to get it together to start labels and get peoples music out there that might never have come out without the help.
Q5 what have you got coming up
I literally dropped my EP yesterday so I'm working on promoting that for a bit, and also I'm on Leaf Dog's solo album a scarecrow's perspective thats coming out in may this year on high focus records and features Diamond D and Rampage, and me and leaf are on Dirty Dikes new album coming out real soon. In the pipeline i've got a few collaberation releases coming up that me and leaf dog have done that i can't really say to much about right now but trust me i feel its the best material we have ever made. For the future I'm working on a solo LP right now aswell as a new 3 Amigos album with Leaf that we've layed a few tracks down for already.
bva mc from the three amigos crew has made a epic ep. production mainly from naive but there is a pete cannon beat in there to 3 amigos member leafdog is the only feature on this ep if you love dope music you need this!! it will be released on the 25th of feb 2011 on bandcamp and on cd's go to www.leafdog.bandcamp.com OR pre order a copy now!!!!!!!!!
if i told you that i'd have to have slept with you. and nobody wants that.
Q2
ok fare we will leave it there then, what would you say is the top 5 mc's of all time? and witch inspired you the most
errrrm
mr.key, biggie smalls, chester p, sick rick, and eazy e.
not in that order, but mr key inspired me the most
Q3
do u wanna let people no why?
because I just though you had to be a black man from hood with 20 guns and mad bitches and crack, he popped up and saved hip hop for me. i still love that gangster shit, but opened my eyes to other genres within the genre.
Q4
do you think you have changed your style of beats or bars scince your fisrt album boggies and alcohol
yeah, i mean the style still there massively. i like to think its matured a bit though, like a dirty cheese. the beats are still sample based boom bappers but again, up a few notches. more pow, more honesty.
Q5
who was involved in making this album,
all beats are by Mr. constant. hence the name.
err
theres some features too, all contact play end up on there somewhere, stig, three amigos, fliptrix, skuff, slang immaculate... theres more i think
naive mixed and mastered the album
gave it that BANG!
This is the Video for Dirty Dikes first single taken from his new album

Lee Scott) bill's bar in this is live "never making sens unless I'm chatting shit, that's it" the beat gives of a moody head nodding feel witch fit's bill bars and flow perfectly, Track 4 - Holy Smokes Feat . Bang On , Dilner The Lost Kid (Prod. Lee Scott) blap blap fuck pop music that's all i gotta say!!

Track 6 - Bad Taste (Prod. Reklews) the beat is dope on this! reklews comes with a banger, i think this is another track where you see how original bill's style is, ""bill shakes in the place arrive late to my wake, baked stoned out my face, smelling of toxic wast"
Track 7 - Smoked Out (Prod. Reklews) get a big bag of grade and burn!!! i can't say much else cuz i got to high wen i listen to this

DX: You know we love that “Ill Street Blues” though. That’s the shit we want, as much as we can get.
Kool G Rap: Oh no doubt! I’m taking it the “Ill Street Blues” direction. I’m taking it every single direction [on this album]. I really doubt if anybody that’s a G Rap fan, and familiar with the G Rap body of work, I seriously doubt if they would be disappointed.
DX: Now, you said these names that did the production work aren’t really known, [so] can we get the names just to give ‘em some pub?
Kool G Rap: Absolutely. We got niggas like [De La Soul producer] Supa Dave, [Philadelphia-based production duo] Level 13, The Insurgency, my man Leaf Dog, and my man Pokerbeats who contributed in an amazing way to this album to make it what it is, and definitely got that heat.
DX: How you find these cats…?
Kool G Rap: I found ‘em all through MySpace, and Facebook. I posted up a email for all producers to send tracks to, and these are some of the cats that sent tracks. And them shits is undeniable.
DX: You couldn’t of done this like 10 years ago…
Kool G Rap: Exactly! But now you can run wit’ it. So I’m taking advantage of all the new technology.

Q1
wat have you been up to scince we last herd from you?
Living life. I didnt "quit" music or stop or move to France like some idiotic media parasites put it. I wasnt in jail either for 5 years. I love the rumors i suppose. It only reassures peoples stupidity and shortcut to thinking. I never stopped recording i have two albums worth of raw ready to be served and shot up in your fucking veins. i traveled a lot, wrote a film script..made beats, read a lot of books, sodomized whores.
Q2
wat is your veiws on hip hop today
Depends. I like the shitty unlistenable stuff lately. Seems the worse it is i like it more. Thats one of the reasons i kinda took a step back and went really underground you could say, the quality control has been permanently removed so its a mockery really. I'd rather listen to Lil Boosie or Plies than some little shithead who just started spitting in 08 and thinks hes a rapper or knows what it really is. Every douche has a studio now and thinks you owe them something. No one comes original anymore, same flows..same metaphors. New jacks ask me for advice i tell em quit, or sell drugs you have a better and longer career, the doors are closed.I do hear things here and there that are ok, mostly i listen to rap from 82-97. I could tell then things were declining a bit, I just didnt think it would get this bad haha..like i said id rather listen to shitty down south retard crunk. Hopefully things will start looking up. Sorry im such a negative bastard
Q3
is there any chance they will be a new non phixion album
I dont know anything about that and as far as i know they are rumors. The best rumor i heard was that i was addicted to heroin and moved to Holland haha..that was a good one or i beat up a cop after stealing a truck. I mean where the fuck do people get this from? I did a show in Colorado and some tripped out surfer comes up to me and goes "dude...its you its really you".."I heard you died last year"..
Q4
wats have you got coming up in the future??
New album will be out in March.Expect an onslaught of music. The cult is alive.
Jam Baxters Debut Double Disc LP out now 2010 on High Focus Records http://www.high-focus.com album produced by Naive & Kerem Fraiche with a Bonus track produced by 184. Features from Contact Play, Verb T, Fliptrix, Dr. Syntax, Mowgli & Maria. You can buy the album now at www.high-focus.com
assa is part of the tactical thinking crew and primitive form, he is a dope mc that is not to be slept on! you can find him on leafdogs solo album coming in may 2011
Q1 what got you into hip hop
started rapping for something to do really, I never thought id still be doing it at 27. I remember recording rhymes using a playstation one to play the instrumental and an alarm clock with a tape deck and a built in mic, makes you think why would you every need a tape deck and a mic on an alarm clock?
Q2 who inspired your doulbe time flow?
er nobody in particular, I aways buzzed off fast rhymes, I learned every word to 'gimmie some mo'. I never really planned on being a "fast rapper" I just always seem to try and cram too many words in to each bar, I get told to tone it down when recording, I'm forever taking out syllables and putting syllables back in, drives me mad sometimes.
Q3 will there be a new TT album, and will primitive form ever regroup for a new album???
I'd love to work on another tactical thinking album, I think it will happen again in the not so distant future. its hard to motivate seven people, and communicating sometimes was a pain in th arse, "who's wrote for this track? who's on this beat?" altogether though I think we did ok for a first release the idea was to raise awareness for each individual artist amd I think it did that. its still on amazon, itunes and band camp by the way so go get it, its called ' too broke to go solo'
as for primitive form I think some things are best left alone, had some good times with the primitive lot an we'll probably makes some new tunes eventually but I don't think you'll be seeing us doing step step any time soon. Q4 wat have you got comig up??
as for me, now, I have been working on my solo album ' everyday user' for almost 3 years if not more, this is down to other projects taking priority, laziness, lack of self belief and a bunch of other excuses. but its in its final stages now and it bangs......hard! its produced by naive and pete cannon and guests include dr syntax, jay madden, derogatory, mic dyson, foola, bva, deadline, jim raygun, tenchoo, lego and your good self leafy. its gonna be out late aug through an independent label I won't say which yet and I'm gonna be working on a bunch of other stuff building up to its release including a project with derogatory, also Im featuring on quite a few albums this year so keep eye out for mr assaman. peace
